My Mom

You know, my mom deserves the best!  She did a phenomenal job raising seven kids on her own without a complete formal education, though you wouldn't know it because her parenting skills were great.  She was always patient, attentive, kind, compassionate, and had a way of making each one of us feel as though we were the only one in the room, even when we (her kids) were all in the same room.  All of the neighborhood kids loved her because she always had a great way of commanding respect (without being aggressive) but also making them feel special.  Even to this day, kids prefer to stay with my mom over their own.  We simply adore her!  Before I leave this earth, I intend to see her get what she's earned.  She has always lead by example, by demonstrating what it means to be a Christian.  With all of the sacrifices she made--so selfless, doting, devoted, and inspiring--the least I can do is help her with smooth sailing the rest of her life.  She's one of the major sources of motivations to my success.  She's also the reason I'm determined to increase my income so that she can now relax and I can provide for her the things she needs....gosh, I love that woman...none compares!  I'm so privileged to call her mom and blessed to be graced with her presence.
