About Me

I am a young professional (several years of graduate school and an advanced degree for which I will probably pay for the rest of my life).  Aside from the aforementioned boring aspect of my life, I am a daughter (I heart my wonderful mom!), girlfriend (I've held this title for a decade-not sure I should be bragging about that), bestfriend (to a few trusted wonderful women), a sister to numerous siblings, an aunt to more nieces and nephews than the number of years I've been a girlfriend.  Also, I'm a nice mixture/balance of neurotic (my degree allows me to make that professional self-assessment...lol), nice, and plain out silly.  My family knows me as lighthearted and goofy.  I  am a Christian and believe in striving to follow the example of Christ.  I fall short, but I've had plenty of years of practice at dusting myself off and trying again.  I love hard and tend to be overly kind, but I'm no fool.  I delight at the sight of kids and smile with admiration at the sight of a happy married couple, but I cringe at the thought of personally moving forward with either of those commitments.
