Day 2 of Trying to Figure out How To Make This Blog Thing Work

I know that this blog is supposed to be about Avon, but I figure I can also talk about what's on my mind...you know, keep it real/honest.  Anyone else have any difficulties or misperceptions about how blogging would work when they first tried?  What worked for you?  What makes one blog more appealing over another?   I suspect followers prefer when the blog is consistent.  Am I correct?  What else appeals to you?...yes, I'm talking to you---the viewers?  I see you peaking (and thanks for doing so!).  Are you afraid to commit?
